THE Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is considering bringing back the number coding scheme in the morning, especially since students will be returning to face-to-face classes.

MMDA Acting Chairman Carlo Dimayuga said this is part of an ongoing assessment on the traffic situation in Metro Manila.

If implemented, the number coding will run from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

“But there will be window hours. Unlike before that it is a straight 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.. So from 10 a.m. onwards there is no more coding, It will resume from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.,” Dimayuga said in Filipino.

However, Dimayuga said they are still studying the measure and will come up with a decision within the week.
